The school website is, in fact, a network: there is the main site, open to all on the World Wide Web, which anyone may see; In addition, there is a closed Intranet, with no connection to the outside web, which includes a second website for the “Siach” community (parents, extended families, teachers, children); and then there are blogs managed by the older children under my guidance. Three of these are now open to the Wide Web, as examples to this type of projects. These are educational blogs.

The objective of the main site is to offer anyone who is interested, including potential families and teachers, a way to see what “Siach” is, who we are, and why we are doing what we are doing, and allow for a glimpse of the projects and works done by our children. To contact us for more, etc. It is our official internet presence.

The second, closed off, website consolidates all information which we do not whish to put out there in the open, protecting our children, and which, frankly, is only of interest to us, the “Siach” community. It where the picture galleries are, the videos, the projects, the class contents and summaries, the daily operation, and much much more.

And, of course, the educational children blogs are closed to protect their privacy, while still allowing them enough of an interaction to learn the useful skills.
